The day has come!!!!
Met with Yus, Diy and Yuan Yi before the concert.
There wasn’t and concrete plan for that day.
So we decided to check out the kbox at civic centre…
And we had a lot of fun!!!

I started the ball rolling by singing the only Chinese song I know by heart which is ‘bu xiang dong de’. Haha.
At first we were really very blur and trust me the place looked sooo cheena that I was really scared to enter! Haha.
But ya we are paying $14.40 and there will be free drinks and snacks at it will be for 4 hrs. not bad ya??
Of course we couldn’t stay for 4 hrs because it was already 4+ when we entered and we haven’t eat and the concert is at 8 all the way at Victoria theatre.
So ya we only stayed for 2 hrs I think which is really a waste…
I had a lot of fun, though.
I sang a lot!!! Haha
At first I thought that the songs selection will be like the school’s one, all oldies and no nice songs for me to sing.
But it turns out that it is really not that bad.
There’s even kinda new English songs.

And then we went to eat at breeks.
The food was really slow and the serving is very big and I couldn’t finish it because I got sick of the huge fish! Haha.

So we were really rushing to reach Victoria Theatre before 8pm.
We took a cab from City Hall and reached at 7.55??
It was super rushing and we thought that we couldn’t make it because latecomers are not allowed to enter
Anws met the rest of the people in the theatre
Yue Wen, Cindy, Yixin, Wan Er.
Our seats was not really very good but we were still able to see the performance perfectly fine.
The performance was great! All of the guy performance are from Riverside la!! Except for Shu Qi or Su Qi. Haiya dunno how to spell his name. Ms. Jenny was the best, obviously!! Haha.

After the show, we wanted to pass the flowers that we bought to Ms. Jenny BUT we couldn’t enter the hall.
Since we were from upstairs, only the people sitting downstairs are able to meet the performers. Even going on stage to take pics!! Like wth!
Really pissed off.
BUI Ms. Jenny came out to meet us, which is really nice of her.
She’s like crying because all of us came to support her.

Came home at 1+.

Am damn tired and must wake up early to go to escape tomorrow!!

I really miss the riverside dance days.
Although I know I wasn’t the best performer but we had a lot of fun.
And I was in almost every performance that was choreographed!
Especially the times that we were preparing for SYF and that time when we got to know that Ms. Jenny plans to leave Riverside.
It was really very sad.
I see the numbers grow every year.
From really very little from the year before us
Then an increase in numbers from our year
And of course me, yus and diy being the first three malays to enter modern dance
Then a really significant increase in people joining the year after
And a whole lot the year after
The dance studio almost had no space for all of us
But I believe we make it work
Even manage to go past the bronze that we have been getting all these years to a silver
Although it wasn’t a gold but it really means soo much to us
Especially when it is our last year and all
Although modern dance has never had so much attention like the malay, Indian and especially the Chinese dance, the modern dancers are still able to hold our heads high and announce that we are from modern dance if anyone were to ask us.

Hmm…this feels very emotional.
Lets just say that I have make a right decision to join modern dance in sec 1. =)
